The Randall family quietly moves into an abandoned church in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri and make it their home and rudely turn away any visitors. The family has a secret, it possess a very valuable Inca gold treasure that they smuggled out of Peru.
The father is a paranoid gun-loving murderer, whose hobby is killing as many snakes as he can. One day he shoots one deadly Copperhead snake. Then the snakes take their revenge and an horde of snakes overruns the place and terrorizes the family.
