Venom is an American/British horror film based on a novel by Alan Scholefield and directed by Piers Haggard.
When some international terrorists attempt to kidnap the young son of a wealthy London couple, their plan goes sideways. When, by mistake a deadly Black Mamba is sent instead of a harmless snake. When the snake escapes, the terrorists and several hostages find themselves trapped in the family's London home. A tense evening is had by all as the snake slithers around the house picking off the various characters one by one. A real black mamba snake was used in this film it belonged to the London Zoo, and it's trainer was David Ball, the Zoo's overseer for reptiles.
